imagePracticing the presence of God is necessary and of vital importance. In God’s presence we have the Fullness of Joy, Peace, Comfort and Help for every need.

Acts 3:19
Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah

You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of Joy. At your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11

After saying “Yes!”to the Saviour Jesus, our next step is receiving the Father’s Promise to send us the Holy Spirit. He is our Comforter, Advocate, Helper who leads us into all Truth, the Spirit of grace truth and peace.

Because we all need and desire Him, we believe and wait. While waiting, we Pray, we Follow and Obey Jesus’ teachings.

John 14:15-17
“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.*

John 3:21-23
Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.

And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.

Matthew 22:36-40  Jesus replied, “‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

The Holy Spirit will fill you. Keep reminding yourself that He lives with you.

It is just as important after being to stay filled. This is an extremely spiritual thing to do, it doesn’t come naturally.
Some Asian people and other non Westerners know about spiritual things more so than us,not that it is always the Spirit of God but they are more aware of that dimension.
Don’t try and put the cart before the horse eh, Jesus tells us to wait and “in just a little while” John 16:16, Acts 1:4-5 as He said to His disciples, prepare for the coming of the “other Comforter”.(John 14:16)
Westerners need to think spiritually.  There  is enough word to cover any concerns for a sincere seeker.
